I think, therefore I am. I am free. Free to do what I choose. I am the captain of my ship. I own myself. I am a free independent human being. I decide whats best for me. Being granted my life I have received an awesome gift and a great responsibility. I decide how I want to treat my fellow man. I decide what I want for my life. I may not achieve every goal I set forth but it is I and only I who decide when that goal is unachievable. I follow the golden rule. I will try to do unto others as I would have them do unto me. I try only because I know I am man. Man is fallen. I am not perfect, but I will not let this deter me. I will strive to respect my fellow man. I will feed him when he is hungry, clothe him when he is naked, comfort him in his time of need, but I will not expect of him the same. I will be responsible for my life, but defend his with my own if I so choose. I will do this not only for the comfort of my soul but for the love of my brother. If I am indeed created in His own image, I indeed make my own creed. If there is a God then may He judge me by my own creed, and not by those who have come before me. No one but I make these decisions. Those who doubt me will not make me uncertain. I will not be malevolent towards those who may hate me. These decisions are mine because such decisions are mine to make. I make them because I alone control the hands that sculpt the clay. I alone control the hand that paints the canvas. I alone forge and shape the tools that may bring my creation or destruction. I wield those tools with these things in mind.
